I wish I was tech-savvy enough to work in a place like this. Sure looks like an ideal workplace, although I'm sure just like the rest it has its quirks. Nonetheless, it seems real cool.

Googleplex is about a 10 min drive from where we are although we haven't been there yet. I just wonder what kind of humor a bunch of PhDs would have.

Must be really weird humor, Mark. :) Then again, it looks like a fun place. Dontcha wanna try working there, seeing as it's a 10 min drive away?
Believe me I've been trying. For the positions I want, you need to have at least an M.A. in Computer Sorcery or something. Not common to have a manager with a PhD.
But I'm still trying. I'm taking a shot at translating their services to Tagalog.
Oh Google has its own bus. It's a very very geeky bus.

I recently saw a want ad for Google's operations in China. The company needs an executive with at least a master's degree, several years of work experience, fluency in Mandarin (and preferably in Japanese & Korean), and a "distrust of traditional marketing mores" (or something to that effect). Heavy!
